2016 Stanford Chinese New Year Gala – Promo Video
As mentioned earlier, the responsibilities of the media director is to make posters and videos. This is the promotional video we released about two weeks before the gala. I also made the animation at the beginning of the video, which took me 30 hours to render (my laptop was kind of crappy). The video is a bit long and boring in the middle, but make sure you watched from 6:00 to the end, because that’s the most funny part.
Oh, by the way, the guy in that costume was me.
I also made a few more videos along the way, including the following two clips in which the president of Stanford John Hennessy and the actor Liu Xiao Ling Tong greet the audience.
