2016 Stanford Chinese New Year Gala – Greeting MV
What’s the biggest event in Chinese community at Stanford? Chinese New Year Gala, for sure. Every year this event attracts an audience of over 2,000 people, extraordinary performances from a handful of student groups, and a production team consists of dozens of talented students.
I was in the production team in 2016’s Monkey Year gala as the media director (the one who makes posters and videos), among other directors, designers, and production managers. We decided the production team should greet the audience. Suggested by the director Cordelia Xiao, we used a stupid song from the movie Tiny Times (小时代) and replaced the footage with us. I did the post production, of course, since I was the media director.
