This was the second annual concert of Stanford Chinese A Cappella, and was the first one after I joined. I joined as tenor, not a designer, but like the case of many other groups, the responsibility of visual design naturally fell on me. The following three pages are what I made for our A Cappella.
This first one is about the concert itself. I made a few images as the background slides, among which the one I spent most time on is this Mischief Managed. The president of our A Cappella, a friend of mine, a fanatic fan of Harry Potter, Qimeng Liu, wrote a medley from fourteen Harry Potter movie sound tracks. To show my support I made this Marauder’s Map style picture and lovingly put our names on the map.
The video of the concert is still under editing, unfortunately. Part of the reason is I have been waiting for someone to give me an enhanced version of the audio track, but the guy still has not given it to me after several months. Then I decided to give up. I put one clip from the entire video here, which is the Harry Potter medley I mentioned before.
