Medium: Compressed charcoal, Pencil, Vine charcoal

All of these drawings are done during the class I took in my sophomore year. This was my first time drawing human bodies. Naked. I was pretty surprised that the class covers figure drawing since it was only an introductory course.

But to be honest, naked body is way easier to draw than the ones with clothes. When you draw people with their clothes on, you still need to know how the skeleton and muscle work — all the anatomy of human body, but because it’s all hidden it’s a much harder mental process.
