Usually you would imagine someone would make a graduation video if s/he is the one graduating, but this was not the case for me. I made this video not because I was graduating, but because I was working for ACSSS (Association of Chinese Students and Scholars at Stanford), who was hosting a graduation party and wanted something memorable for those graduating students.
Shaoming Feng and I shared the responsibility of directing (and had a few arguments actually) and other people also helped editing, recording, sound production, and special effects. The most difficult part was not technical, but how to contact and coordinate so many people who show up on screen.
Before the party during which the MV would be released, I also made the following trailer, which was super short with only 15 sec.
