This second page is about the poster I made for our concert. The name of the concert “Fairytale++” was selected because many songs we presented would bring back memories of our childhood. There were songs from Beauty and the Beast, the Lion King, Harry Potter, and lots of anime.
This was the first time I tried to use original drawing as the key element in poster design. I tried oil painting at first, but failed because what I painted was complete garbage. Then I turned to watercolor and immediately regretted that I spent so much time on oil painting. Watercolor is such an amazing medium, for no matter what you do it will always look good. The score on top of the image is Dona Nobis Pacem, a traditional canon we have been practicing the most.
I also designed the program sheet of the concert, which came pretty easy as I only did some modification based on the poster.
